Competition Youth Trapshooting (SCTP)

The competition Buckeye Chippewa Youth Trapshooting is the centerpiece of the BOYESC organization. Approximately half of the youth who participate in the recreational program go on to compete in SCTP youth shoots. The club competes in categories based on age and experience. The staff consists of NRA/ATA/USA shooting certified coaches and many adult volunteers.

Total NATIONAL SCTP Team Championships since 2005: Buckeye Chippewa has clenched 22 National Championships, and 50 podium titles across all disciplines
Our coaching staff consists of over 25+ NRA/SCTP certified Shotgun Coaches
2024 participants represented 7 counties and 34 different school districts
All participants can earn both individual and team awards
BOYESC is a year-round Non-Profit Organization providing Archery Instruction, Youth Hunts, Outdoor Skills Day, Hunter Education Classes and an exciting three-day weekend of outdoor education at Lake & Trails
Buckeye Outdoors Youth Education’s Staff are all volunteers. All monies collected and fund-raised go directly to the Youth Programs.

Set SCTP Record in 2010 by Capturing Four 1st Places Out of Five Categories at the Ohio State Championships - Added to record in 2011 by taking Four 1st Places and a Runner-Up
2012 We broke our own record at the State Championships by taking 1st Place in ALL 5 Categories. First time this has ever been done!
2019 Our Varsity team clenched their 10th consecutive State Title AND broke record high score
