Hunter Education Classes
BOYESC Board Member, SCTP Head Coach, and Certified Hunter Education instructor, Harvey Bechtel leads our hunter education classes. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) hunter education program is designed for every age and ability. The instructors will help you understand where, and when, it’s legal to hunt. The material covered is for people with little or no knowledge of hunting or firearms.
Once the course work is completed the student will be given a 100 question test which includes multiple choice, true/false, and matching questions. A student must score 75% or higher on the test to pass and obtain certification. Certification will be given upon passing.
